President Trump on Monday evening announced a 25% tariff on all products from Mexico and Canada until the illegal alien invasion is stopped.
More than 15 million illegal aliens - mostly military-age males - poured over the border since Joe Biden was installed in January 2021.
Biden’s "border czar" Kamala Harris did absolutely nothing to stop the invasion of illegals so President Trump is ready to stop the invasion on day one of his second term.
Trump said that Mexico and Canada have all the power to stop the illegal alien invasion and the tariff will remain in place until the flow of Fentanyl and illegals stops.
"As everyone is aware, thousands of people are pouring through Mexico and Canada, bringing Crime and Drugs at levels never seen before. Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of thousands of people, seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently Open Border.
On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders. This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country! Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem. We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!" Trump said on Truth Social on Monday evening.
President Trump also announced the US will be charging China an additional 10% tariff on all of their products coming into the US until the flow of Fentanyl stops.
The fentanyl crisis has gotten worse under Joe Biden thanks to his open borders policies and weak position with China.
More than 70,000 Americans die of fentanyl overdoses per year thanks to Joe Biden.
Trump is taking action to stop the flow of Fentanyl on day one of his second term.
"I have had many talks with China about the massive amounts of drugs, in particular Fentanyl, being sent into the United States - But to no avail. Representatives of China told me that they would institute their maximum penalty, that of death, for any drug dealers caught doing this but, unfortunately, they never followed through, and drugs are pouring into our Country, mostly through Mexico, at levels never seen before.
Until such time as they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% Tariff, above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America. Thank you for your attention to this matter," Trump said on Truth Social on Monday evening.

One thing is for certain. With a 25% tariff in place, Mexico will be finally paying for the Wall. He should also cut off all aid to sanctuary states and cities that are aiding and abetting criminals. No federal money or welfare for any sanctuary city or state saves a trillion dollars if not more. Mexico and Canada will be making substantial changes to their runaway illegal alien situations, soon. Watch them rapidly make changes and beg the Trump administration to reverse this decision.
The last President that was as serious a threat to the Deep State that Trump is was JFK. He got his head blown off. Trump came within less than an inch from the same fate. When he gets back in, may he remember what they have done, and make them pay.
