President Donald Trump released a new statement on Monday blasting The New York Times.
This comes after their latest hit piece where they claim the Trump Administration "duped" donors into donating more than once to the campaign.
I have not run into one Trump supporter who said this was a problem for them. But the massive money the Trump campaign ended up raising WAS a problem for Democrats.
It is total fake news.
Trump called out The Times for misleading their audience on the record election results and the record donations to the Trump campaign.
Trump owned the small donors and the working class who came out in droves to support this president.

In yet another highly partisan story, the failing New York Times wrote a completely misleading, one-sided attack piece this weekend that tried to disparage our record-setting grassroots fundraising operation during the 2020 campaign.
Except for massive voter fraud, this was a campaign that was easily won by your favorite Republican President, me!
Our support in 2020 was so big - never before seen (received more votes than any sitting President in history, by far), that it has become a major threat to the Democrat Party, which explains why the New York Times immediately rushed to defend their Radical Left allies. Before our two campaigns, 2016 and 2020, Republicans would always lose small dollar donations. Now we win, or do very well, because we are the Party of Working Americans, and we beat the Democrats at their own game. We learned from liberal ActBlue - and now we're better than they are!
FAKE NEWS MEDIA IS COLLAPSING
In fact, many people were so enthusiastic that they gave over and over, and in certain cases where they would give too much, we would promptly refund their contributions. Our overall dispute rate was less than 1% of total online donations, a very low number. This is done by Dems also.
The New York Times knew this but buried these details in their story - they didn't talk about, however, how the CHEATING Democrats circumvented State Legislatures (approval is required by the U.S. Constitution) in Swing States to rig the 2020 Presidential Election, or how Democrats paid for votes in many Urban Centers, in a little thing called "walking around money," how Democrats threatened Union Members with the loss of their jobs if they didn't vote Democrat, massive Fake Mail-In Ballots, illegal immigrants and dead people who voted (for Dems), and much more.
Our fundraising efforts, working together with the Republican party, were all done legally, and all with the goal of ensuring that my Administration could continue to Make America Great Again.
The Election on the other hand, was massively rigged and stolen - and now look what is happening to our Country, and in particular at our southern border.
If you are one of the record-setting 75 million Americans who voted for me, donated or volunteered, THANK YOU! The best is yet to come!

Upset that independent media outlets, often of a lower caliber, are taking over the internet due to their growing popularity, the dying fake news media empires of the world are lashing out with hatred against their newfound competition.
What was once obscure is rapidly becoming mainstream, and failed "journalists" everywhere are scoffing at guys like Glenn Greenwald who not only call them out for their lies but also have much bigger followings, despite being "canceled" by the big guys.
Greenwald, formerly of The Intercept, is never shy in exposing the corruption of big media. Heck, this is how he built The Intercept into what it is before ultimately leaving to become his own one-man show over at Substack.
Rather than support Greenwald's endeavors, legacy "journalists" are aiming to destroy him because they know that can never compete. And Greenwald is just one of many who the establishment media sees as a threat to their subsistence, which wanes daily.
"They hate where their industry is and they hate where they are within their industry," writes independent journalist Freddie DeBoer on his Substack. "If you feel you can't get mad at the industry that's impoverishing you, it's much easier to get mad at the people who you feel are unjustly succeeding in that industry."
Greenwald is one such person whose work is helping to impoverish many a fake news purveyor because it is good and it sticks. It is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual garbage that flows across the airwaves and on Twitter, and people like it for that reason.
What they do not like is media hacks constantly telling them how "evil" white people are, or how terrible America is for not paying black people whatever reparations they demand. "Woke" culture might be loud, but it is hardly profitable, at least when it comes to the news.
In 2018, newspaper circulation fell to its lowest level since 1940 as a result of all the left-wing insanity that is typically published there. The year 1940, by the way, is the first year that such data is available, suggesting that reading a newspaper is now almost as unpopular as when newspapers did not even exist.
With this drop in readership comes a drop in revenues, which means journalists have to be fired and newsrooms shrunk. And the reality is that the carnage has only just begun.
Television media is also on the decline. MSNBC, CNN, and even Fox News are all seeing serious declines in viewership, along with plummeting advertising revenues. This affects all who work in media, to be fair, not just those working in the legacy media.
"Life in the 'content' industry already sucks," deBoer puts it plainly. "A small handful of people make bank while the vast majority hustle relentlessly just to hold on to the meager pay they already receive."
What DeBoer means by this, of course, is that struggling journalists who blame platforms like Substack for their failures - and try to shut it down in revenge - are missing the plot. It is they who are responsible for their own failures as people are tired of all their condescension, lies and virtue signaling.
Corporate media failed a long time ago. It has just taken more than a decade to really easily see it dying after failing. Good riddance to bad rubbish is what I say. Don't need it. Don't want it. Please just go away.
I will never understand how any person can get a few years programming (in college, for instance) and develop a mindset that is impervious to any and all hard data, such as what they SEE and HEAR with their own eyes and ears.
We can't even trust media ratings, given that the same cabal controls all legacy outlets. It's probably much worse for them than we realize.
