The following are scriptures to use in fighting an enemy, be it a corrupt government, evil in your family, physical or mental illness, or anything else the devil tries to throw at you.
John 15:7 Jesus said "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."
John 16:23 Jesus said "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you."
Matthew 17:20 Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
God Is the One Who Fights the Battles
"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him."
2 Chronicles 16:9
"Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed
and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with
you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them - those who
contend with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as
a nonexistent thing. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right
hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.' " Isaiah 41:11
"I will go before you and make the crooked paths straight; I will
break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron."

"For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the
Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear

"Therefore understand today the Lord your God is He who goes
before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them

coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon
You ... Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel ... thus says the
Lord to you: 'Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great
multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's ... You will not
need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and
see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and

God who avenges me, and subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me
from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against

and stand up for my help. Also draw out the spear, and stop those

"When my enemies turn back, they shall fall and perish at your
presence. For You have maintained my right hand and my cause; You

"Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver

"God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
If He does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His

silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail. The
adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces; from heaven He

has dashed the enemy in pieces. And in the greatness of Your
excellence you have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent

"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty Man; He shall stir up His
zeal like a Man of War. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall
prevail against His enemies." Isaiah 42:13
"When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord
will lift up a standard against him." Isaiah 59:19
"Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him
from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand."

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You
will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and You
right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and
through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk
through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame

The Attitude of Battle - Humility and Obedience to God
"Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart
be glad when he stumbles; lest the Lord see it, and it displeases
Him, and He turn away His wrath from him." Proverbs 24:17
"If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is
thirsty, give him water to drink; for so you will heap coals of fire
on his head, and the Lord will reward you." Proverbs 25:21
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from

"If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform
them ... you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land
safely. I will give you peace in the land, and you shall lie down,
and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts,
and the sword will not go through your land. You will chase your
enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you
shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand
to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you."

God's Anointing for an Offensive Approach to Battle

scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by

"And He called the twelve to Him, and began to send them out two
by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits ... and they cast out
many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed

"Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will
carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will
deliver you." Isaiah 46:4
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide
under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my
refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall
deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous
pestilence. He shall cover you with His feather, and under His wings
you shall take refugee; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow
that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor
of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right
hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you
look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the
Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your habitation, no evil
shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for
He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your
ways.
They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot
against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the
young lion and the serpent you shall trample. Because he has set his
love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high,
because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will
answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and
honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My
salvation." Psalm 91:1-16
